Exams.

Yeah we haven't been playing as a team for around 2 weeks now. We are all studying - well, pretending. We have had to miss the 'eGames' LAN, which would have been AWESOME!

We also had to miss the GoSolid V.5 LAN! FML.

Oh well, the week exams finishes, we are gaming HARD until schoolies. We will setup a LAN with Team Endeavor. Which at the moment consists of:
-Royal Fan
-Somedude242
-Flynn
-Soxy v2

They destroyed us at the V4 LAN, but we may stand a chance this time. Or at least gain something from the LAN. I cannot wait for exams to finish.

Back to Baysicks vs Hidden Potential

After much trash tale from team 'Hidden Potential' the day finally came to LAN. We could finally see if the trash talk could be backed up, they definitely talked the talk, but could they walk the walk?

Shakur (Liam)
-Kid Cudi (Aaron)
-TooLegitToQuit (Russell)
-SpinDrill (Cam)

A major flaw with the Xbox 360's is that once they are not connected to LIVE, the Xbox clock reverts back to its original release date time. This somehow makes Halo not want to save any games EXEPT the last game played, and its at the bottom of the 'Recently Played' list. Which is absolutely retarded. Us being major idiots did not manually reset the clock so that our games would save. Therefore no gameplay or stats are have been recorded.

I will have to rely on memory recall. There were some really close games, and some not so close games, simply put, they were absolutely raped in a lot of games. All in all, we did not lose a SINGLE game. The day started out serious, I admired them for persisting, but their 'Potential' will remain hidden.

What I learned:
-Justin is a beast, and can slay like crazy.
-I snipe best early in the night, and as I get tired my reaction time slows, and I miss mo
re shots.
-Our BR skill has improved.
-Justin is a beast.
-Construct TS is our best map, and the 'hold lobby' strategy is not pretty, but it defiantly works.
-Our team definately meshes well with the addition of Justin.
-I need to work on BR further along with all of my team mates, Luke and Justin have the strongest BR's by far.
-Rick needs to work on his slaying ability, especially on Narrows.

We gained some valuable confidence from these scrims. Here are some pictures:

Back to Baysicks - Halo 3 - Introduction

Team 'Back To Baysicks'.
Current Team Line-Up.

-iTZ Water Rat (Justin)
-iTZ Fieldy (Luke)
-iTZ Outkast (Rick)
-B 2the Anger (Jay)

Although we are a newly formed team, we are improving rapidly. I have always been one to record stats and gameplay and I thought a Blog over a forum would be better suited to doing so.

Our goal is to win a GoSolid LAN. We have set that as our target and think it is a realistic goal. We also aim to continue improving and can hopefully do so.

The aim of this Blog is to monitor our progression and also serve as a place for other teams to look for Local LAN's against us or in general. Stats and gameplay will also be posted for enjoyment.

There may be team change if things aren't working out. I just want 'Back To Baysicks' to win a tournament. 'Jordan513' and 'xTS Keiren' are my backup plan.

Tournament experience:
*GoSolid V.4 4V4 LAN.
- Our first tournament, we were extremely nervous. But we did get in some hard practice together as a team. We did not have our original line-up due to 'WaterRat' not being able to come due to a lecture on the day of the tournament. Our goal was to play as best as we could, and we did. We played better than we normally did, and my sniper was on par. Although we were 3-0'd alot, we did not feel that these teams in the future would be unbeatable for us. I learnt 3 things from this experience (in order of importance):

1) Teamwork absolutely annihilates individual skill. Unless you are Naded.
2) We need a better BR. The other teams BR skill was ridiculous compared to us.
3) It's all about experience, and being able to judge how to react in certain situations.

Here are the final results of the GoSolid V.4 LAN.
